The word unceasing is unsettling; anything that starts and never stops is quite demanding. Unceasing prayer and adoration is the mandate of the Church; to give Jesus everything He is due. The unceasing nature of this calling ascribes His worth; declares His perfection and accentuates His infinite glory. Unceasing prayer is necessary, unceasing adoration is beautiful and unceasing prayer and worship is His prescribed will for us. It’s powerful to our soul and transformational to our culture; it’s both historic and future. Unceasing adoration connects Earth to Heaven; it consumes the living creatures around the throne as well as the houses of prayer scattered across the nations.
